Brian Vega is a a cisgender gay male therapist, and started Gay Resources of the Ozarks in 2005. He is a board certified, Licensed Professional Counselor who is certified in Civil and Family Mediation and trained in EMDR techniques. Brian has supervised over 30 Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselors (PLPCs) for the state of Missouri. He has been an instructor in the graduate counseling program at Missouri State University, a high school counselor, and a middle school counselor. In addition to individual and couples therapy, Brian offers anger management classes and facilitates groups for LGBTQ adults, LGBTQ teens, males living with HIV, and LGBTQ individuals in recovery. Brian works with all adults, but specializes in working with:
the LGBTQ community;
all relationships needing help, including traditional, open, non-monogamous, poly-amorous, and mixed-orientation partnerships;
individuals exploring their sexual orientation;
people seeking gender-affirming care;
ethnic, religious, and other minorities.

Fees
INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING
$110 per 50-minute session; $165 per 90-minute session
COUPLES/FAMILY COUNSELING
$125 per 50-minute session; $190 per 90-minute session
GROUP COUNSELING
$40 per 90-minute session
If insurance covers mental health counseling, payment is accepted at the time of service, and the client is responsible for submitting a receipt to the insurance company for reimbursement.
